ASIMAFE was born as a result of the lack of involvement on the part of the union groups that have abandoned the railway sector, promoting inequality between sectors and undermining their rights and professional recognition.
We fight by encouraging the participation of members with active representation in favour of solidarity, integration, recognition and professional equality for all groups that form part of the railway.
We are members of the Confederation of Managers and Professionals (CCP), which agrees on the effort to create an intersectoral agreement for all professionals in the sector.
The liberalisation of the railway sector has completely changed labour legislation and the management of services in Spain. It has expanded the possibility of carrying out all kinds of professions linked to the sector: administration, mechanics, assistants, train drivers, etc. in different operators that began in the freight transport sector and that today already work in high-speed passenger transport.
ASIMAFE is a trade union born in the 21st century, with a contemporary, dynamic, transparent and participative mentality with the firm purpose of improving the railway in all its aspects: safety in circulation, legislative updating, integration of all sectors, recognition of professional disabilities, job stability, retirement, family conciliation, ...
